Long Overdue, Heiyo Smart Phone Holder Anti Drop Ring

Hey guys! Sorry for the delay in the update, I suck. :D

Anyway, part of the delay was because I didn't receive the ring in two days like I had thought...I ordered it on the 6th and then didn't receive it until the 11th. Boo. But, no biggie, on with the review!

The package comes with two items- the larger square with a ring attached to the back which is the part that you adhere to the back of your phone, as well as a smaller square that is flat on one side and has a little plastic hook on the other. The ring on the large square doesn't click into the small hook, but it does fit snugly.

I was curious to see if this would still work well if you attached it to the back of a phone case rather than the phone itself. I'm too klutzy to use my phone without protection--- it probably wouldn't last a day. My other concern was that my phone case has large ridges on the back, so it's probably not the most ideal flat surface.

However, the ring adheres perfectly onto the case, no problems whatsoever. The hook can be used in your car, (IE. attached to the dash board) and then you can hang your phone from the hook. I was really excited to try to hang it from the wall. I know that sounds weird, but my boyfriend snores at night and I use earbuds to listen to music or Netflix. The problem is that I toss and turn a lot, so throughout the night I pull my ear buds out and my phone is all over the place. I'm always worried I'm going to wake up with a cracked screen-- It always ends up either under me or sliding down between the bed and the wall.

So I adhered the hook to the wall about a foot above my bed and it works perfectly! I do still have to be careful because it's still relatively easy to pull the phone off the hook during the night...but for the most part it works like a charm! I still enough space to roll over with my headphones in.

Going back to the Anti Drop Ring itself, mine was gold, though I believe there are a variety of color choices. I placed mine closer to the top of my phone than the middle, and as such when I set my phone flat on the counter it's a little wobbly. The plus side of that is that I can use it as a kickstand. The ring will move all the way up and down, so you can adjust the viewing angle as well.

One more thing...according to the description on amazon, you can remove the ring from the back of your phone and wash it with warm water and a mild soap to remove dirt and debris, and you can just adhere it to your phone again. That's pretty nifty. I haven't tried that yet, myself, since I've only had it for a few days. But when I do, I'll update!

On Amazon Heiyo's Smart Phone Holder Anti Drop Ring retails for $10.99. I received it for .99 cents in exchange for an unbiased review. Obviously it's worth a dollar, but I would be perfectly happy to pay full price for the Ring. It's great!

Just the Beginning!

Hi everyone! I'm making this blog as a companion to my review channel on Youtube. I'm just starting out, so there's not much to post yet. I'm getting started with receiving free or discounted items in exchange for honest reviews...that means I'll do my best to be thorough, honest, and prompt. I have my first item coming in the mail, so hopefully I'll have a post up in two or three days, and we can get started from there! I'm really excited to start with the blog and videos, so stay tuned! I'll see you all in a few days, when I'll be reviewing Heiyo's Smart Phone Holder Anti Drop Ring. See you then!
